Beauty of Wood is a wood turning studio that was established in Prague in 2010 by Jiří Chmelař. František Janda joined it 9 years later.

We believe wood can reveal its beauty through rounded shapes. Work with wood brings us joy and fulfilment and we hope Beauty of Wood will bring joy and happiness to others as well.

Apart from exploring the beauty of wood, we offer woodturning courses.

We took part in the exhibition Prague Design Week 2016, where we received 2nd place for presentation. Since then, we have been preparing a new collection for an exhibition to be called Touch the Beauty of Wood, which is  from 23rd February to 26th March 2023. You are cordially invited!

We became a partner with a renowned wood lathe producer Record Power from England in 2019.
